July 14th, 2024 | John 13 explores God's radical love as exemplified by Jesus washing the disciples' feet. Jesus, knowing His hour had come, demonstrated profound humility and love by serving others despite His imminent betrayal and crucifixion. This act challenges us to accept God's transformative love, recognizing our need for His grace and the redemption found in Christ. As followers of Jesus, we are called to emulate His love by serving one another selflessly. This radical love, modeled by Christ, should define and unify the Church, reflecting God's glory and drawing others to Him through our love for one another.

July 7th, 2024 | In Luke 7:1-10, a Roman centurion's deep faith in Jesus' ability to heal his servant with just a word is truly inspiring. It challenges us to reflect on our own trust in God during difficult times. This story reminds us that sincere faith, regardless of our background or circumstances, can move mountains and bring about unexpected miracles in our lives.

June 30th, 2024 | In the story of Zacchaeus from Luke 19:1-10, we see how labels can weigh us down. Zacchaeus was known as a sinful tax collector, but something in him changed when he encountered Jesus. Unlike the rich ruler in Luke 18:18-27, who walked away sad, Zacchaeus joyfully embraced Jesus and transformed his greed into generosity, showing how faith can redefine our lives and our relationships with others.
 

June 23rd, 2024 | We are thirsty people and know what quenches our physical thirst. Do you know what quenches your soul's thirst? The story of Jesus and an unlikely person gives us the answer, something worth sharing. John 4:1-42

June 16th, 2024 | We are story-shaped people, and God speaks to us through stories. In Mark 2:1-12, Jesus showcases His authority to forgive sins, heal the sick, and read hearts, highlighting the power of faith and friendship. The story demonstrates how the courageous actions of the paralytic's friends, who removed the roof to bring him to Jesus, reveal that faith can overcome obstacles. This account inspires us to embrace the traits of these friends—courage, compassion, creativity, and contagious faith—as we deepen our understanding of God's word daily.

June 9th, 2024 | In part 2 of "Stories Worth Sharing," we explore how Jesus invites us to be active participants in His story, not mere observers. Reflecting on Luke 5:1-11 and Ephesians 1:11-12, we are challenged to trust Jesus, even when He shows up unexpectedly, and to let go of anything that makes us feel unworthy of His calling. Jesus believes in us and has a place for each of us in His story wherever we are from—are you ready to accept His invitation and follow Him?

June 2, 2024 | We are all part of a grand story authored by God, and He invites us to join His better, unfolding narrative centered on Jesus. While the world, our past, and our fears offer us different stories, choosing God's story brings true significance and hope. Each day is a new opportunity to reframe our lives within His loving, faithful plan and to embrace the story He is telling through us.

May 26, 2024 | In the hustle of life, it's easy to overlook the moments that reveal God's faithfulness. But intentional remembrance of His wonders and promises can anchor us in times of uncertainty. From the parting of the Red Sea to the provision in the desert, recalling God's faithfulness empowers us to trust Him in every season and share our stories of His goodness with others, fostering gratitude and strengthening our faith journey.

May 19, 2024 | The essence of the church is shaped by our individual definitions, reflecting either the gospel of Jesus and communal connection, or the pull of consumerism. Yet, aligning with God's design, the church is a community united in Christ's supremacy, passionately spreading His gospel near and far through disciple-making. Embracing God's vision, we prioritize His glory, embody love and unity, seek the lost diligently, value discipleship over mere decisions, and humbly rely on His grace despite our imperfections..
